High drug prices and prescription drug price gouging has been a hot topic for years, but really took the spotlight last year after millionaire hedge funder Martin Shkreli acquired the rights to the drug Daraprim and raised the price from $13.50 to $750, an overnight increase of over 5500%. Daraprim is used to treat cancer patients and also those who are suffering from HIV and AIDS.

That is another great example to show why we created eDrugSearch.com  to level the playing field for patients who need affordable life-saving medications. At eDrugSearch.com you can find Daraprim 25mg for at $150 for a 90 day supply because our drug search database works with safe and licensed Canadian pharmacies that have various locations to meet the demand for the growing number of Americans purchasing medication online.

As unethical as Shkreli’s actions were, this practice is par for the course. Many prescription drugs sold in the United States are three or four times more expensive than in other countries.
