What other ingredients than iodine are important in Betadine? The generic brand I bought has some different ingredients but was half the price.But if its not going to work the same its not worth the savings.

All generic drugs should work exactly the same because the generic drug is identical, or bioequivalent to a brand name drug in dosage form, safety, strength, route of administration, quality, performance characteristics and intended use.
