Additional Comments:  I love this medication. It works wonders. Having GERD that ahs lead to problem, it works to keep acid at bay and allwo my body to heal. It doe not slow down digestion, just keeps everything where it belongs.

Positive Aspects of Prilosec otc (omeprazole):  This drug seems to work a lot faster than other drugs that I have taken.

Negative Aspects of Prilosec otc (omeprazole):  So far I have not experienced any negative effects from this drug.

Reason for taking Prilosec otc (omeprazole):  acid reflux and hiatal hernia

Additional Comments:  Since I've been taking this medication I can again drink orange juice in the mornings which I had to give up for a while before starting Prilosec OTC.

Additional Comments:  My only worry is that I have heard some people lose their hair however that is not a listed side effect so I am hoping it is coincidental.

Additional Comments:  I have been stuck taking this medicine for a year. It doesn't really work for me. It did for a couple of months, but then it quit. Unfortunately, my insurance won't approve any other.:(
