Veet Bladeless Kit
|
|
I am always looking for a way to shave my legs without getting nicked by my razor. I have seen those commercials for Veet. They show how easy it is to get soft smoothier and long lasting skin. It's easy right? Wrong, it was a waste on money that I spent on it. I did get some results but not the kind I was looking for. I had to reshave my legs with my razor to remove all the hair. I have tried Nair too, it doesn't work either.

Some types of hair aren't meant for these I've decided. I bought this kit for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in and was so ticked when it barely removed any hair at all. I have very thick dark hair though, so it may work for people with fair or thinner hair.

My girlfriend uses a Schick and it doesn't cut. She shaves me as well and it gives a real smooth shave and isn't rigid.
Just remember to replace the blades every month or so..
If you're so scared of getting cut, try an electric shaver.

I have used an electric shaver for a long time; it is good for on the go but I don't think it would get close enough for a woman.

If you buy a razor to use, either electric or not, always make sure to get one made for woman. We really do have more delicate skin and hair then men. If your legs tend to get cuts then try a throw away woman's razor and run it over some material to dull it a bit before you use it on your legs or underarms. Sometimes too sharp razors will take away the skin too instead of just hair.
I use a razor for all my unwanted hair growth and the women's razors that are a bit dulled work very gently and well for a few uses.
You can also get shaving gel for woman and that will also protect your legs from cuts and soften the skin too.

Is this not the same type of thing that Nair is? My girl got it for herself and ended up being allergic to it.

Veet usually has a money back guarentee.Did you contact the company and complain? I've done that when I got a bad batch of veet cold wax strips.I like the veet wax strips and have used them numerous times without issues. But, that time I seemed to get a bad batch.I was sent coupons to get a replacement. They were helpful.I would've contacted them.
