Does anyone take the birth control pill Seasonal? I wanted to take it but my insurance company wouldn't pay for it so I went with ortho instead.

I have never even heard of it. Is this in pill form or a shot?

Do you mean Seasonique? That's the birth control that is supposed to let you have fewer periods a year?
I didn't know that any health insurance companies don't consider it to be a usual and trusted birth control yet. I guess that means that it has been OK'd by the government but not approved by some health insurance companies.
Interesting, since I'm not sure that it sounds healthy to take the pill so constantly and to not have a monthly flow.
If you only think this pill is worth taking, maybe the health care worker who gave you the prescription will write to your insurance and tell them that you need it and that it has been approved by the government?
That might be a way to get them to pay for it.

I'm taking Ortho right now, it's always done me good in the past. But yeah, Seasonique is what I meant, lol. I know that it doesn't sound healthy but it sure would be nice if you could have fewer periods and it be good for you!
