I went in today and got Mirena (IUD/IUS) and the LMP was well past December since I was on depo. Right now I feel like total crap and hoping this passing shortly as the doctor reminded me that it would. Anyone else had dealt with an IUD like this before?

Is it just uncomfortable because of the insertion? I don't have any experience personally, but I've heard from friends the discomfort passes quickly.
