Chapped

I have just found out that I am chapped in a certain place and no real idea what would cause this other than warmer weather. When should I call the doctor and start to worry?

I wouldn't worry about it but I do not think it would hurt to get checked out as soon as possible either. I would not let it go more than a few days. With the risk of infections you do not want to allow bacteria to multiply that could put you in a real world of hurt.

Always wash any area that bothers you with soap and water to clean away any bacteria that might do harm. Keep the area as dry as possible and it will probably heal up well.

You could also try wearing lose clothing that will prevent the area from getter too moist, which will then become a breeding ground for bacteria.

Mesha thats what has been doing, I think it might have something to do with recent hormonal changes not sure but will have it checked out if it doesnt go away on its own.

My gynocologist suggested sleeping without underwear to help the area "breath". It really does seem to help with the dry chapped feeling.
