Always Tired

I get enough sleep and eat breakfast in the morning but I always seem tired when I get to work. Is this normal?

No, it is not. Either you are not sleeping well enough or perhaps your breakfast isn't correct. You also could have a thyroid or sugar issue as both of these can make you tired. If you don't feel it's your diet or the sleep, then maybe you should see the doctor.

You might not be getting enough sleep. Some people need 8 or more hours a night and don't get anywhere near enough needed rest.
If your breakfast is mostly carbs, you might be having a reaction to your blood sugar dropping around the time you get to work. Try having more protein in the meal and that's supposed to regulate your blood sugars to keep you energised until the next meal.

I had a problem with tiredness, and blood tests showed that I have anemia, now i take one iron tablet everyday and am feeling much better. You dont have to take maedication though, just have more iron rich foods in your diet.
Do go and seek madical advice.

i too suffered from anemia and had the same symptoms. I always felt fatigued before I was tested. Now I eat a lot of peanut butter because I can never remember to take pills and it works for me. Definitely tell your Doctor so they can make sure nothing is wrong.

You may also think that you are getting enough rest because you go to bed on time and wake up say 8 hours later. But maybe you mind is still very active during part of that time. Check to see if you are worried about anything. Your bed surface could also be a factor.

That's right. Just because you are out for 8 hours that does not mean that you are necessarily getting deep restorative REM sleep.
