Power of Almonds

I have read in a number of weight loss guides that eating almonds 20-30 minutes before a meal can actually curb your appetite and cause you to eat less during a meal. Has anyone tried this?

I never tried it but I have heard that almonds are good for you. Not a ton of them but some every day.

I've never tried it but it makes sense. It takes time to eat an almond. It's not as if you can eat it within ten seconds. Plus, nuts have protein so it might fill you up a little.
It sounds like something to try.

No, but I do know that if you eat a couple of crackers and drink some water 20 or 30 minutes before a meal, it will do the same thing.

There are other health benefits to eating almonds as well so I think that is a great tip and idea.

I love almonds. almonds have a number of benefits. first is the protein. It curbs teh appetite because it ahs to be broiken down. Carbs burn out quicker than proteins. So eating almonds actually helps by giving extra protein boost. then conside rteh fiber. Yup almonds have fiber.
So that bulking helps too.
Besiodes that it ahs oodles of heart healthy nutrients that actually help to lower bad cholestrol and increase good cholesterol.
If you look at the nutritinal label on teh can it gives you exact serving size to get the mopst benefit.
yeah right..who are they kidding. I will sit with a small can. all my own, I dont share with my daughter she gets her own can. and a tall glass of special K iced tea. It curbs the apetit because you really did eat something.
