Has anyone used the Jenny Craig system for weight loss with success? Would you consider this to be one of the 'easier' diet plans?

I have never tried it, but I have spoken with some people who have and they all say the same thing: you are left feeling hungry and the food is boring.

I never used Jenny Craig. When I was shopping around for a diet, I called them to ask about their diet and I didn't like their counselors on the phone. They were far too pushy.
I did go on Nutrisystem at that time and it was the best thing I ever did. I found that not having to worry about figuring out what to eat and buy, then cook everyday was just what helped me do well.
I lost almost 200 pounds on Nutrisystem.
But now the prices have gone up astronomically and I can't afford to use it. I gained some weight back because of the problems that my family is going through and would love to go on it again.
But 300 dollars a month for only some of the food I'll need? I just can't afford that!

I don't think any program is better than the other. People use 'diets' and programs as excuses. It's truly in the mind. Now, I am not saying that means someone should be able to lose 100lbs. What I'm saying is that diets don't work because they solve the problem of why a person overeats.

Jenny Craig is just another one of those weight loss programs that in my opinion really do not help much. For some they see success, but for most it does not work at all.

I have never tried either one but I know people that have. They said the food was terrible and you have to buy so much at a time. I can`t afford that much money either.

I tried Jenny Craig a few years ago and had great success.
Two things to remember, though. First, you can reproduce the diet by following a 1500 calorie diabetic diet. Second, Jenny Craig food substitutes most of the sugars and fats, which is why the food is rather pricey.
