I always thought that to eat healthy- fruit would be a great thing to eat.
I bought a bushel of peaches. I love them and they looked great!
Come to find out each peach has between 45-80 calories. I was shocked.
I thought that they might be negative calories.
Which fruits are actually good to eat with few calories? Do you think these calories are ok calories?

I actually don't think that 45 t0 80 calories is bad! When you see how many vitamins and how much fiber you get from peaches, then that is a perfect food. Each peach you eat gives you all that goodness and it has water in it too. It sounds like the right choice of food to eat.

Well, you wouldn't want to eat something that won't give you calories. We need calories to give us energy. What is wrong with 45 to 80 calories in the peaches? They are so little.

The calories in fruits and vegetables are the ones you want to put into your body. It's the calories from things such as cake, cookies, and soda that you want to avoid.

Fruits and vegtables are very good for you and that small mount of calories should not scare you away.

I was just thinking that they should be "free foods"- You know when you are counting calories- you don't want to eat 80 in a peach.
I love fruit and I knew it was a good thing to eat. I was just shocked at how many calories they have.

All fruits are good for you, but you have to eat them in moderation, just like everything else.

I believe food choice and quality are more important than just counting calories. Eating an organic peach that has 50 calories is far better than eating an overprocessed snack with aspartame and has 25 calories. It's good to count calories, but better to eat as many raw/natural fruits and vegetables as possible--especially the kind that have antioxidants.
