Cereal Weight Loss

I read this article and I believe there is a lot of truth to a cereal weight loss plan. Recently, I bought a box of whole grain cheerios and used them to nibble on when I wanted a little snack. It's been helping me not to nibble on much worse items...like candy, etc.

I think it's a good idea to snack on cereals that are healthy but bear in mind that they steal have a certain level of unwanted sugar therefore you have to also watch your serving size and the frequency.

I never thought the cereals will have a good effect on my weight. I have been making cereals my snacks since I was in college. I fell in love with cereals having nuts with them.

This is also a great thing to do with kids. So many of the kids' breakfast cereals are filled with far too much sugar for breakfast. But if you compare those cereals with other snacks that they go for later in the day, kids' breakfast cereal make great finger foods for kid to snack on. They have all the vitamins in it and can be put into little bags for proper portion size.

I also eat cereal as a snack. The most fun and lowest in calories is puffed rice, wheat and corn. They are 50 calories a portion and are filled with air. It's great for adults and it really fills you up if you have a cup of coffee or tea with it.

I absolutely love using cereal as a snack. My best success has been when I put small portions into zip loc bags like skatss said, because otherwise I end up eating too much. Choose cereals that are good for you (so not those really high-sugar ones) and you'll see results in no time.

I like the Kellogg's Raisin Bran Crunch.I take some with me to work in a small container and nibble on it instead of going to the vending machines.

I love cereal. It's all I've been eating lately. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, breakfast is good no matter what time of the day it is!

I'm more into frosted flakes and corn pops than anything else, but I do love Special K. It's too expensive to get all the time though, so I get it every time I see it on sale, which is sadly not too often =/

I like the special K high protein cereal.
Being on a south beach style diet for my diabetes, this stuff I use as a meal replacement when I am not truly hungry. BUt if I eat cereal in the morning I eat and eat all day long.....
