I think my friend may have not received the proper medical care that he needed, may of us knew that he was depressed and we also know that over a five year span he was on many different med's, tried some, they failed, swapped to another, etc. We he took his own life and it makes me wonder how many others out there who deal with depression, what are the statistics for something like this?? |

It seems like the number of people who suffer from depression keeps growing year after year. Many are never diagnosed and their families do not realize there was a problem until it is too late. The scary thing about antidepressives is that suicidal tendencies can be a side effect and a person on such medications should be monitored carefully. |
