Subject: | Any bad music for thearpy? | |
I know that many people say music can be healing, and I know 100% that it can be relaxing but is there any music that could be bad for someone trying to heal (no matter what their medical condition is)? |

I have never heard of any particular music being detrimental to the healing process. I believe that it is only healing if it relaxes or calms you so any music that does this should be beneficial to you. |

I doubt any genre is bad but for a psychological side of things a song that might depress a person (whatever the song is about) would make sense to avoid. |

Personally, I would not recommend some of the harder rock lyrics that talk about suicide, murder, etc. or any other style of music that tends to be depressing or degrading in any way. I don't believe there is any one particular style that should be avoided as long as it promotes positive emotions. |

lacy that is exactly what I was getting at. I know once a friends father was in the hospital and the nurses had to ask certain family members to avoid saying negative things around the father, things like that make total sense. |
