Skin Problems from Oxygen

Alot of people on oxygen seem to get dry patchy skin on their face. Is there anything that can be done to help with this specifically as opposed to a general dry skin problem?

I imagine there are strong lotions creams or petroleum type jellies that can be used to minimize dryness. Though I am not certain what the normal course of action would be for that.

Jojoba oil might be good.

It is really close to the consistency of natural oils produced by the skin and doesn't cause reactions in most people.

Check with the manufacturer of the tubing, mask. and/or cannula though. Certain oils might cause these to degrade over time.
