Cycle Beads

I read an article about cycle beads this morning and was curious if anyone has used them for prevention of pregnancy? I don't know how well it will work for me because I'm still irregular due to breastfeeding.
Here's the article:

Interesting idea, I suppose. I don't see it working for many women, though. You could do this easily by marking off on a calendar if your cycle is regular. It wouldn't have worked for me as I never was regular and turned out to have my "fertile period" right after my menstruation time instead of in the middle of the cycle like normal women.

I've never used the beads, but I've used the general technique before. Like Tammy mentioned, it's just as easy to mark it on the calendar, which is what I did. If your cycle is irregular, I would not suggest it at all, though, unless you're perfectly fine with the idea that you could get pregnant again soon.

Tammy, what do you mean your fertile period is before most womens? the fertile period is anytime from the first day of menstration to the day after ovulation.
