Subject: | Religion is for your own good! | |
I know there are many free thinkers out there nowadays. I know you have been living your life freely and happily without any religion commitment at all. However, I would like to say that having a religion can really pull you through hard times and offer you consolations should you make some serious mistakes in life. It is a backbone where you can readily fall back to in times of need for your spiritual requirement. |

I will admit religion can pull you through some rough times, but I have also seen people get along without it as well. |

Studies show that people who have some sort of religious belief tend to be happier and healthier overall. Of course there would be exceptions on both sides when you look at individuals. The studies simple look at the overall groups of people. |

People can live strong spiritual lives without leading *religious* lives. I am quite happy, have made it through some of the worst trials a person can (I lost my 4 year old son to cancer 3 years ago), and all without being a member of an organized religion. |

Religion can be a help to those who want it in their life. Again it is a very personal thing. |
