Subject: | Meditation | |
I am not the biggest on anything like yoga, but I do my own little thing when it comes to really being stressed out and needing a break from everything. I lock myself in a room (soon to be a study of some sorts) and meditate. Really helps on those crazy days. Anyone else, or even to share some tips if you do? |

I like to find a quite spot outside or go for a walk and get some fresh air, that usually takes me down a couple notches. I think it is good to have something you can do to unwind and shake it all off when things get hectic. |

Running or swimming usually helps clear my mind and get me back to neutral. The sauna/steam room helps as well. |

I like going for a walk to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air. I don't meditate nearly as much as I should. I used to with my yoga but I've haven't been doing that lately and need to get back to it. |

I would love to have a steam room but the closest I have is a shower right now. I do however have a hammock in the back yard thats my get away spot sometimes. |

I meditate everyday. It's the only thing that gets me through. It's the last thing I do before going to sleep at night, meditation is my prayer (I'm not "religious" but I am spiritual) |

The only way for me to meditate is to go for long walks. |

I teach my students (psyc 101) that meditation is the single best treatment for stress that actually works over a long period of time. |

For me, Being in a quiet place helps in taking out all the stress. It gives you an inner peace of mind and feel that the world is free from everything. |

Can I ask a potentially stupid question? What do you actually do to meditate? How do you clear your mind of all those things that are causing you to be stressed or anxious? |
