I get tired of those people who tell me that I have to be in a church to be a good person. Since when did battling someone over what I believe in. I thought we were in a year that this did not matter so much anymore?

I don't believe you have to belong to an organized religious group to be a good person. Organized religion does have a good side that I think we should all consider. Churches for example respond to natural disasters and crises far more effectively than governments. Hurricane Katrina a few years ago was a case in point.
