I believe all religions aimed at making a good man out of a human being. However, I can't understand why some people are willing to fight or die in order to defense or promote their religions. It defeats the whole purpose of having a religion in the first place. By fighting for it, it turns us into baddies and sinners!

People seem to have different ways that they want to show how they support their religion. I do not always agree with it, but I guess it's their choice until it effects me.

Fighting over differences in beliefs is as old as religion itself. Many times the church itself can be the cause for the fighting as seen in the middle ages. Humans will find any reason to fight and religion is just one more of them.

Some people think that only their religion is the right religion and so they try to force others into their way of thinking.

I also think that some people are afraid of religions that they don't know about and would like nothing better than to do away with that religion.

That is why I always say we can believe in a religion and never get too immersed with it until we cannot differentiate what is wrong or right. Fighting and killing people whether it is for religions or any other matters is really a no-no in any religion, it is the people minds that are too preoccupied with the religion teachings that made them cannot do any sane judgment.

Ethnocentrism my friend.

Everyone lives in their own bubble and most of the time they find anything outside their bubble WRONG or IRRITATING. Basically there's nothing we could do about it because they already know what's right from wrong but they will always be the ones to make the decision. We just have to wait, because we already know what will happen once all this war reaches Jerusalem.
