Subject: | Church Helps You To Live Longer? | |
I just read an article in a magazine that stated that someone had done a study in which they found that people who went to church on a regular basis actually lived longer and healthier than people who didn't. Has anyone else heard this? What would be the reasons? Any ideas? |

I read something similar quite some time ago. I also read an article which showed that people who regularly go to church also handle stress much better. I think just having a conviction that this is not all there is and that some greater purpose is being worked out in our lives would have a tremendous impact on the levels of stress we deal with on a daily basis. Stress really tears people up on the inside. I think that is at least a partial explanation. |

^ That does make a lot of sense. When we feel secure in our faith, it can give you more of an inner peace that might help prevent stress. |
