I study different religions all the time. I love to see the differences AND the similarities in religions. I read my Bible and I believe in God. I think I have had more education now that I've gotten older than I did when I was younger but then, I'm closer to the final exam. I really enjoy the study and you would be amazed at the similarities between the religions.

It really is fascinating how much some of the religions that seem so different really do have much in common. I have always really enjoyed reading up on different belief systems too.

I love having conversations about the similarities, esp. to those who end up not wishing to convert me but can sit down and actually just talk about it.

You have to be willing to listen. Even if you don't believe what they are saying, be open minded enough to listen and maybe have a pleasant debate. You can talk to someone who has different ideas without fighting-I've done it.

What I think is great is how you actually can talk to people about religion these days. It's no longer completely sacrilegious to do so. And there are so many more people looking for a religion that's more personal for them and the needs of their family. Heck, just go to the book store and see how many more titles there are under all the religious sections, even new age type stuff.
