I used to go to church all the time. I became a born again christian in 1991. As the years went by I was approached by people telling me I wasn`t being a very good christian. And they themselves were doing things that they shouldn`t be doing. Why do some people at churches think they can judge you? It made me leave the church. I have had some other bad experiences but there isn`t enough room to write it all. I miss the praise and worship but I don`t miss the people. I have my own way of worship now.

As long as you are happy that is all the matter. I agree with you some church people can be real pushy indeed.

I'm very sorry that you had a bad experience. Those people should realize that judging others is a sin as well.

Don't let those hypocrites keep you from finding spiritual hapiness.

You know, I had become a Christian in 1991 as well! I have been through a lot since then, seen a lot... Who can honestly say they are a good Christian?? We all struggle, try to do our best, fail every day, then get up with God's help and try to go again.

Well, don't let those people there stop you from attending the church. Maybe the way they comment is a test from God. Do you know that you have fail miserably by withdrawing yourself from attending the church?

The commeraderie is waht you seek. Bt not all people who attend have the same end result in mind.

I am orthodox jewish and we do not attend servies. we use online services. thankfuly our branch uses the internet to serve those who for one reason or another cannot attend.

As long as you are hapy and doing what you believe in whith all you heart, then who cares what they do. YOu are the ne who ahs to livbe with your decisions, not them.
