Tums Quick Packs
|
|
I bought these last month because they are free after rebate at Walgreens (4.99 regular retail) and needed to use up some store credit before it expired. We don't really use Tums much, but has anyone tried these? Do they work as quickly as they say?

Not really sure on this one. I was told long ago that Tums do something to mess with the body and stopped taking them, even after the regular ones worked fine when I needed them.

I rarely get heartburn, but I use Tums on the few occasions I do. They work well. I'd guess that if you don't over use them, they are safe.

I get heartburn on a daily basis and Tums never worked for me.
I take Pepcid AC and it works great. My heartburn is gone within 30 minutes and stays away for most of the day.

I haven't had a heartburn for such a long time now. I have friends who use it and the results are some how mixed.

I heard somebody in my town had a heart attack or something from using Tums too much. I'm not sure if it's true though, I heard it a while ago but never heard about anything like it in the newspaper or on TV so I don't know...
