Do you use more than 1?

I used to transfer my prescriptions to other pharmacies to get the deals- A lot of them offered $20 back when you transfer a prescription.

I have since stopped- I think it's more safe if you get them all filled at the same spot- that way they know what you are taking (it's all on record) and can hopefully catch something-- if it will interact with another med you are on.

What are your thoughts on this?

I would rather have all my needs served by one pharmacy or chain. That way they have a complete history of your allergies, sensitivities or other meds you are on. Even if you do use just one, you should always periodically review the information that they have. I recently had a problem with getting a prescription filled for my son that they were worried about interacting with another med because they had neglected to update the computer that the old med had been discontinued.

I checked the prices at walmart and the two pharmacies in my town and picked the one with the best price for my medicines.

I will search for the cheapest pharmacy for my pescriptions. Once I find it, I will stick to it. I don't notice they make any records when I get the pescribed medicines from the local pharmacies here. So the question of safety here is not applicable in my place.

If you can make certain that you will be alert about your medications and keep your own really good records, it would be worthwhile to go where you can get the best price, since sometimes the high prices might stop you from even filling a prescription.

But if you have many pills to take and you tend to forget things, then your health has to come first and you need a good pharmacy to look over your medications to make sure you aren't taking anything that might harm you.

I always use the same pharmacy. I have switched in the past because of bad service. The one I use now so far is good.
