One of the major pharmacies in Quebec makes a big point in its advertising that they provide wise and timely advise on the products they supply. Even in other locations the pharmacist always took the time to explain how to use the product and it's qualities to me when I was filling a prescription. When I ask questions on the non-prescription products there has always been someone there to answer my questions. I always assumed it was part of their job.

A pharmacist should be able to advise on anything carried in that area, especially OTC drugs. While not all places are as good as others all of them should be able to pick out a basic med based on symptoms.

I have always been able to seek the advice of the pharmacist and staff. They have always offered up the advice freely and willingly.

My pharmacy is good at helping you with any questions I have. Even the OTC stuff. They seem to know what they are doing. Plus they have a little clinic right beside them and you can ask them stuff too.

Pharmacists know more about drugs than doctors. It is always good to chat with your pharmacist about other drugs you are on, possible interactions and side effects, and any questions you have about the drugs (prescription or OTC drugs)

That is true they should advise you and become a friend to you.

Pharmacists should know about every drug that they are dispensing. They will give you as much information as possible about that drug.
