Here is a weird one for everybody: http://technology.sympatico.msn.cbc.ca/News/ContentPosting?newsitemid=bc-surrey-laptop-crash-kills-woman&feedname=CBC-TECH-SCIENCE-V3&show=False&number=0&showbyline=True&subtitle=&detect=&abc=abc&date=True Young lady is killed in an automobile accident because her laptop hit her in the head. Really made me think because I'm always driving with a lot of junk in the car with me. Now I've got some incentive to really clean it up and keep it that way. |

I can totally see that happening. The force of a car accident can be very brutal. I worry about my dogs when they are in the car. Yes, I probably should secure them. I have heard of dogs running off after roll over accidents. |

My husband was in an accident some years ago and was hit by a work truck. The truck rolled up on it's side and one of the young men in it was struck in the head by a sledge hammer that was loose in the cab of the truck. He wasn't seriously hurt but could have been very easily. |

That is not really all that weird. I was a passenger in a wreck in 03 and the minor injuries I had was because the friend who was driving me into work that night (I was in backseat) had three big phone books not strapped down in the backseat on the floor. When the other car hit us, they hit me while I was bobbling around anyways from being hit head on. Secure your stuff people! |
