Has anyone caught this online yet? It seems this guy died from a forever taking liver transplant deal. It bothers me so much when there are so many on the list, but what can we do? :( http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2004387955_webmarijuanadeath02m.html |

He was denied a liver because he was using marijuana. But he was LEGALLY using it with a doctor's prescription to help his nausea and pain. Time for his family to sue. He was legally living his life and he was denied a liver for no reason. If they don't sue, this terrible thing will happen to other people who are just trying to relieve some really bad symptoms legally. That hospital should be brought to court -- and quickly. |

OMG that is just horrible. There is something wrong with a world where a committee can decide your fate, based on what drugs you use MEDICALLY to alleviate disease symptoms. |

That's horrible. There should not have to be a LIST, if the hospital can absolutely not get people their liver transplants quickly then they should recommend another close by hospital who would do it. |

I agree that this is unforgivable. If the hospital had a problem with the MJ then they should have taken it up with his doctor-not caused him to lose his life because of it. |

I agree with drabble on this one. The right course of action for the hospital would have been to take this up with the doctor making the prescription. Punishing the patient for a professional difference of opinion is really a rotten thing to do. |

I understand them putting priority on people who show that they are trying to live healthy but this case in particular is ridiculous. I think with the exception of people that honestly are doing horrible things with and to their bodies and has a major history that there shouldn't be a list. Start passing those babies out and start saving some lives these people have enough damn stress in their lives. |

Losing life over this is just wrong. Hospitals and doctors need to think about people first not what they want to do and how it effects procedures. |

What terrible thing to do to that poor man. It doesn`t even make any sense. He had a doctor tell him to use the MJ. Thats just messed up. |
