I hear people complain all the time about how all they ever read about in the newspaper or hear on the news is bad news. Someone cheated, lied, killed or stealed (poor grammar I know). Yet, lies and scandals appear to be what sells. If we want to see something different we need to let our voices be heard. |

I don't think it's ever going to happen, people just seem to thrive on listening to and reading bad news as long as it doesn't affect their lives. |

What are we supposed to do-use our voices to tell the media that we don't want to read anymore that our next door neighbour is a murderer? That we would prefer instead to be completely unknowing, just walking round blind? The bad news is the reality of our situation currently and thus, we need to hear about it. |

The bad news is just being reported more, nothing new there. I would like to still know the good, bad and ugly....not sure if that is just me or not though. |

We all want to hear about the not so nice things, but when we are around others, to save face, we lie and say we do not want to. (my thoughts) |

I think I would much rather know that some syko is in my town rather than assume everyone was a saint. If we do not have the news then how to we keep ourselves all safe? |
