This is a vaccine that is being tested to help men and boys get protection against papillomavirus. This virus causes warts to appear on the male genitals. The virus can lead to penile cancer if left untreated. |

I see the scare tactics in operation too. I mean, I remember certain diseases that were a right of passage in childhood-chicken pox in particular that was just brushed off as being a harmless but inconvenient thing. Now its made out to be a killer disease that oh no! We have to avoid it or we'll ALL die! Um yeah. How did we ever reach this point without the human race being wiped out? |

Alter our children? I don't see how it alters our children, perhaps you could explain? I think that the controversy was more because they are administering a treatment for a sexually transmitted disease to a child of just nine years old. |

That is true Rosetta, but would that not be the same as vaccinating our newborns and early toddlers for hep when they are that you as well? |
