Subject: | Bald spot | |
My wife is the one who gets to cut my hair and has noticed I am developing a small bald spot. Right now it is about the size of a quarter. It is not in the right spot to be male pattern baldness. We think it is being cause by the harness system on my bicycle helmet. The helmet is close to being replaced but my wife is wondering if there is anything we can do in addition to get the hair to grow back. She is more worried about it at this point than I am. |

There are several products out that claim to stimulate hair growth. I don't know how reliable they are, but they are usually expensive. |

I never knew there was a specific spot for this to start off with. I always hear if you wear a hat a long time it will speed up the process since your head is not able to "breathe". |

I wouldn't try any of the products personally, just let the follicles heal and stop damaging them further. Hair grows so quickly that I would imagine you would see fairly quick results. |

My husband was having some hair loss and I just went to the health store and found some vitamins specifically for that. They worked great! |
