The 300 workout

Whether you liked the movie or not, there is no denying that the Spartans in the movie were ripped.

Check out the 300 Workout. Looks pretty rough.

Didn't watch the video, but did study classical archaeology.

TeeHee. The real Spartan "work out" would mean a lot more than working with weights. They lived communally and all ate (minimally) together. They were focused entirely on war. Also, if you have no elevators, cars, suitcases on rollers, electricity, indoor plumbing, and so on, you get a LOT more day to day exercise and don't so much need the weights. The real Spartan workout would look more like preparation for a track and field meet -- running, throwing spears, jumping over things...

"Come back with your shield or on it." Spartan mothers' traditional send off.

I tried it in the summer. It doesn't quite work but it is very intensive!

It'll get you stronger but won't get you ripped. I wouldn't suggest it for appearance results.
