Preventing Prostate Cancer

I eat my fiber and my veggies but still worry about prostate cancer. I get my check-ups like I'm supposed to do and so far so good. I read an article the other day that says men who masturbate on a regular basis (they didn't say what this was) were less likely to get prostate cancer than those who did not. Has anyone else heard this?

I remember this subject was discussed in a movie that came out years ago with Charles Groden. His doctor was telling him about it and the look of pure embarrassment in Groden's face was a great moment of acting.
The doctor just mentioned the idea of use it or lose it.
Oh, and don't forget to add pumpkin seeds to your diet. That is also a good thing to do.

I think one of the main problems with us men is that we avoid going to the doctor and getting regular checkups for much too long. Sometimes until too late.

Lycopene is also very important for prostate health, and if you are concerned you should consider a vitamin supplement that includes it.
Otherwise just keep up with exercise and regular check ups.

Yes, I agree with Phinn. I have not heard of this myself, but you must keep checking yourself regularly if you are at all worried.
