Early Hair Loss
|
|
Okay, so my husband is in his late-20s now and he first started noticing his hair loss by his 21st birthday. It's a definite hot spot area for him and probably the only thing I can think of that he's truly embarrassed with. His dad was almost entirely bald by age 35, so it's hereditary and he knows what will eventually happen.
He's tried a few different over-the-counter hair loss remedies and nothing has worked. It's starting to effect his confidence and I'm curious if anyone has any advice. Is there a semi-cheap solution to the problem without having to go have hair implants put in or is that the ultimate end if he really wants it taken care of?

Other that him going to hair club for men I don't really see any other way to solve the problem. He can get implants but you said semi-cheap solution, He might have to just let it go completely.

I have heard that Rogain does work, especially if you use it early. Go and get some for him. It's worth trying.

A lot of my friends have gone through this same problem, and other than having surgery, there is no real solution. My close friend tried every solution under the sun and nothing worked. I would tell him what I have told them, just shave your head and go for the Bruce Willis look.

My husband for as long as I can remember always go with this bald look, so even though he is not balding yet, he wears it like that. So he use it as a fashion statement, if he wears it well, other men in his circle may try it out for fashion.

I was afraid of that. He's tried Rogain before and it didn't do anything, so I guess he really is just going to have to live with it for now. He's so confident otherwise, but I know this is his one weak spot and was hoping to be able to help. I know a couple guys at work have cracked jokes about it, too, so that's not exactly helping, lol.
