Heart Burn
|
|
I have pretty bad heartburn most of the day. First it comes right after breakfast, then usually some in the afternoon and finally right before bed.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of this annoying problem?

I don't know for others, but ginger normally helps me. It allows me to digest my foods better. At the same time, I reduce the consumption of spicy and greasy foods. That normally works for me.

Unfortunately, I am a heart burn sufferer as well. I also take Pepcid. One in the morning with my coffee and one at night with my dinner.
Of course, you could always try cutting things out of your diet that cause heartburn. Coffee, peppermint, Italian food, etc.

I also have a lot of heartburn and take Prilosec every morning to control it. This does a pretty good job for me as long as I stay away from spicy foods. I hope you find something that works well for you.

I've been taking Prilosec for over nine years to control my heart burn and acid reflux disease. I've been very satisfied with the results.

I like the prilosec OTC, but often its cost is way up theer. So we found generic ranitidine zantac workls fine. one pilla day keeps it under control and its in expensive. Catch it now before you get some serious damage.

You may need to get tests done to see if you have any damage from acid reflux.
Drugs like Aciphex or Nexium may help you. Pepcid AC also helps.
