Best Meds For High Blood Pressure?

I've had high blood pressure for quite a while. My pressure usually goes up when I'm under a lot of stress. My doctor has me on three types of medications to control it. I take Benicar, Lisinopril, and Atteneol. (I apologize for my poor spelling of these drugs.)

Does anyone know the names of drugs that works best on high blood pressure?

There is no "best" medications, just ones that work best for you. Each person reacts differently to medications. Other factors include what causes your blood pressure and whether you are exercising and eating properly. If the combination is controlling the condition, then you're probably best off by staying on that regimen. If it's not controlling your blood pressure, start focusing on your diet and exercise first before switching medications. Ask your doctor for advice in that.

Thanks Tammy. My drugs have been controlling my pressure. I don't use salt at all so that isn't a problem. All I have to do is to try to control my emotions because stress is what makes my pressure bad. I'm very emotional.
