Subject: | Money thought! | |
There is more in life than money! Money is not everything. People have been known to work for money all days long without giving it a thought. That is why they called it a rat race. No amount of money is enough for us. How much of money is enough? When can we stop ourselves from yearning for more money? Do you think that it is worth to trade your precious time spend with your kids with earning more money? They will never be young again once you miss this chance. |

Not everyone works long hours just because they are greedy and want more money. Most people have to work many hours because they have families to feed and bills to pay, and rent to pay. I'm sure people would rather spend time with their children but when it's your responsibility to feed and clothe them you sometimes have to work those long hours. |

I dont think many people choose to work these long hours, but with the prices of basics such as food, water and electricity on the rise, we have no other choice. |

There really is something to be said for the days when you paid your doctor for his services with a chicken or a hog (food), barn raisings and the such. If more of us were out for helping each other and less for ourselves, we would be able to spend more time with each other and would need less money. |

I can understand what you all are going through right now. In fact, I am no better myself. I have to work more than 12 hours a day just to keep the family fed. Actually, I am directing this question to those rich businessmen out there as I just saw my businessman neighbor just came back around 2:00 am yesterday. He has a BMW, 3 servants and a beautifully fully air cond and renovated house! If you are new around here, you will hardly notice my house as mine is overshadow by his. I think he has made enough money and can take life easier. |

Money could make life easier, but I would rather be broke and have a happy family life any day. |

Amen, money is not anything actually. We live on a very limited income, and are the happiest we have ever been - because my husband and I work for ourselves. |

Money is great, but it cannot buy happiness that is for sure. It's like I told my son this morning no amount of money in my hands can bring grandma back so money is not everything. |

I agree with everyone. I myself am now rethinking my career goals because I know the pitfalls of chasing money. Money can't buy good health and a sound mind. Of course we all need to take care of financial responsibilities, but there's more to life than collecting cash. I'm hoping my ideas for having my own business will pay off--monetarily and personally. My goal is to have a balanced life. |
