This is another disease that people are living longer with. The meds I hear are not only expensive but you have to take a lot of them too. People used to die so quickly from this. |

There are many new things they are working on but it does take time and funds to do so. Part of the biggest problem many still see are those not educated with how it can be prevented, and those who have contracted it (or HIV) and unable to pay for the meds you speak of due to the prices and the limits of how many they really need. |

I guess until now nobody knows how to cure AIDS. That's why we must prevent AIDS. One way to prevent it is Microbicides which simply means that you must apply gels and creams to your vagina or rectum to reduce HIV transmission. |

Why can't they find a cure for AIDS? I know many innocent people are dying from it. Can't the Govt allocate much more budget in finding a cure to AIDS? If they can offer a very high rewards, say $10 million, to those who can find a cure for AIDS, I think we will already found one. |

It is great that ways to prolong life are being uncovered, as far as HIV/AIDS go. It is sad however that we are not able to find a cure or to at least make the medications easily attainable to those in need. |

Maybe we're getting closer to finding a cure for aids. Let's just hope that happens. |
