Subject: | Little potty trainers and what they say | |
A friend of mine is in the middle of training her two year old. For a good while now the little one has learned what the potty is for and that it makes a big noise (when flushed), now if the child is in the bathroom with mother there is always a chuckle when the noise starts and you hear: Potty Bye Bye (with a small hand waving) |

My 4-year-old nephew spent the weekend with me. When he got up Sunday morning he came into the livingroom and said he had wet his pants but he didn't get the bed wet. When I checked the bed there was one slightly wet spot. I told him it was okay and helped him change. On the way to church he sang this song. "I'm going to church to learn about Jesus and not to wet the bed but Aunt Julie said it's okay cause it's just a little bit." We live a half hour from the church. He started as we pulled out of the driveway and sang the same words over and over until we pulled into the church parking lot. |

lol,Lacy, that's funny. I have a two year old who does the same thing as Hanna friend's child. He waves happily as it flushes out of sight. I have never heard of another child doing that....so I am a bit relieved. |

My daughter was often heard to complain that her bum was starting to leak when she was starting to have an accident. I guess it was lucky that she had this 'leaking bum' to warn her so that she didn't have a flood! |

Kids are always funny. Sometimes the best stories we hear are those of kids doing odd things. A friend of mine was getting her nails done once, and a small child within walking age and you could surely tell was bored out of his little mind went up to my friend and said "foodies" and thats all. This went on for about 30 minutes as the kids mother was then finished and everyone heard "Its okay we are going to lunch now, thanks for everyone being patient". |
