Secondary

We have health insurance with our work but I was wonder if anyone out there who has 2nd insurance for themselves or entire family more about it. I know that most doctors ask if you have both and I would think it would be harder to deal with two. Do claims take longer for this?

I don't have secondary insurance. I thought this was like- if you carry insurance on your child and the father does also- or something like that- so it goes through 2 insurances?

I don't have to insurance plans, but on my form for the one I do have, there's a section to mention a secondary plan that you may be covered under.

I think that if you have a second one through a spouse or something like that, that it would definitely be worth the effort to make sure you're getting the maximum coverage you can.

I think the question may be is it worth paying for another plan, if it's not part of an employer's benefits.

I do not have secondary insurance, but have been looking into it as it seems a good idea. The biggest problem I have found is the coverage is not that great.
