When you say new, how recent are you talking about? This looks very similar to other so-called super food lists that I've been seeing for years. It's really not news for many of the foods. Who are the researchers behind this list?

Seems to me like its plain common sense! If we eat the way our ancestors used to eat, and spend as much time in physical labor/exercise as they did, then we will all be incredibily healthy! Combine that with the incredible medical advances of modern society and many of us could see our 100th birthday!!

I agree that it seems pretty common sense, and also easy to do. I could live a rather happy life with a diet made exclusively from that list-IF I could afford it all!

That is a great list, I have always stuck with the veggies and fruits when I needed a quick kick boost. A list is quite helpful, thanks!

Hi Christie, I read this list just yesterday from a diabetes newsletter I get. They said it was a new list and, of course, it would have foods that were considered SUPER from earlier lists.
It is all common sense, but sometimes all you need is a list to remind you that certain foods are really good to eat and good for you too.
I still need to see if I can find Wasa fiber rye crackers. I guess I need to find out what the heck Wasa is first.

I never knew dark chocolate was good for you, seems odd. Why? Why not regular chocolate?

I include most of those vegetables and fruits in my diet on a daily basis and they are really working for me, I try to stay away from much fats and oils and refined foods.
