Pets for a healthier life

How many people own a pet and why? Do you think your pet brings positives into your life and how.

I have always been an animal lover and today own two large dogs. Dogs are always happy to greet you when you come home, tails are wagging and they are excited. Nice welcome, I get to look forward to everyday.

Pets add interaction and responsibility to your life.

If you don't want the expenses of having and maintain a child, then a pet is definitely for you.

I have hamsters (well, they are more for the kids), and freshwater fish. I love them - I love to care for them, play with them and to watch their antics.

They are a calming influence on me and they help me to unwind after a long day at work.

Dogs are an excellent companion and bring so much into the lives of their owners. They are always there, always on your side, never complain or disagree, and are always looking out for you.

Pets have been proven to be a positive health benefit to all. The thing that I don't get is how folks tend to view them as furry people and then treat them that way. Sick.

My family is a lover of animals, of all kind, except maybe for some critters. But my mother took care of our dogs like they are one of us. She cooks them different different kinds of food. And I notice with my mother is that her appearance is not getting older even though her head is getting more gray hairs. I do think that pets help enhance the health of the pet-owner.

Well I must be sick then. I love my pets, and actually consider them as members of my family. One of my dogs sleeps in my room with me and has his own bed.

I know for my mom pets were a very vital part of her life. They were part of her family and the pets showed her love back as well.
