Anaesthesia Brain

It's now a week since I had surgery and I am no longer taking heavy pain pills-just tylennol in fact. Yet I am still in a fog-my brain is fuzzy, I find it hard to concentrate and hard to keep my thoughts straight. Worse, my mental arithmetic ability is next to none and I can't spell!

How long will this last!?

I had never heard of that before. Honestly, I thought the effects only lasted like 48 to 72 hours. Hopefully someone can answer this for you - I sure hope it goes away soon it sounds like it is frustrating.

That seems like a long time. I have been under many times. I usually feel better by morning after a good nights rest.

I have had many surgeries, and I have next to no memory, I was told by my doctor it is due to the fact of the many times I have been put to sleep.
