I think it was on the news maybe a month ago and I can not find the article online about it. There is a certain type of plastic, or something made into plastic that is unhealthy. The local news had us calling an 800 # to find out what products contained it. Any ideas?

I heard about it sometime ago, but I don't remember the name either. There are just so many common place things that are harmful to us, it really makes me wonder about life at times.

I am trying to rid my place of anything like the "bad plastics" but I still can not put my finger on it. I think I am going to call up a friend that works at a local place that his company makes plastics (the film) for things like this and ask to see if he knows. Its driving me nuts.

Any of the plastics that contain BPA. Basically the only food safe plastics are numbers 1, 2 and 5 isn't it? 7 is often the very worst of them, but we avoid all plastics personally.
