One of my oldest friends who I've hardly seen in 20 years just got married. I went to her wedding and got an interesting surprise. It turns out she is now a swinger as are most of her and her new husband's friends. They all swing together and I was hit on numerous times at the wedding much to my dismay. I found out my friend goes on vacations where they meet up with various swingers from all over the world. It's its own clique of people for sure.

I'm all for live and let live, but that seems a bit over the top to me. I don't know how you could have a strong marriage with something like that going on. They even have parties at their house where they invite their swinger friends over while they send their kids elsewhere.

Very few people I know can do this in a committed relationship (marriage or not), and I have seen more fail that succeed which leads me to believe its up to that entire couple only if that is the correct lifestyle for them to take on.

I was raised with very conservative values when it comes to marriage and relationships. I have never known these type of relatinships to last and hope, for the sake of your friends, that I am wrong this time.

Everyone has free choice to do with their lives what they want to, but some people sure take it much further than they should. I hope your friend comes to her sense real soon.

As you said, live and let live but this is too much. How can someone even expect to have a marriage if he shares himself with someone?

That is weird. I saw an old lady who asked for Titanic movie theme to be played on her funeral. The funeral seemed like a rock concert from how strong the sound was.

Yeah, it's one of those things people can make sound reasonable on paper, but I don't see how it could play out well in the real world.
