In my house we have a two hour rule for video and computer games. My son would play every hour that he wasn't at school or sleeping if we didn't have this rule. |

I have the same question. Two hours a day still seems excessive to me. Kids spend too much time "plugged in" these days. |

Time limits are great for kids. It gives them the opportunity to enjoy their games but also lets you control how much time they spend on the computer. Good for you! |

I agree--- setting time limits on everything indoors is important. Computer time, TV time, games. We play the Wii together as a family- but I think it's exercise. |

My stepson stays on his PC or game system alll day and night. Except now that school has started he is ony on at night and during the weekend. There isn`t much I can do about it cause he isn`t my son. In our house we have his and hers and we deal with our own kids. |

My son would play 24/7 if I let him. Sometimes you do have to set limits so they do not go beyond what they need to. |
