This is nothing regarding drugs or medical advice or anything else. Its just a normal rant. Our bathroom sink EXPLODED today so waking up to watch water shot out of the top of the faucet has been us busy for most of the day. We are replacing it now, but I did wonder....we got most of the water off the walls and caught it pretty quick. Could there be any water damage that we missed which could cause issues later? Oy, what a day! |

As long as you cleaned up well, it shouldn't be a major problem but you need to check to make sure that no water traveled inside the walls. Check around the sink and pipes for areas that may allow water into the walls or under the floor and seal those, if you can. |

I would suggest that if you have a dehumidifier that you run it in that room for a couple of days. It will help to dry out anything that you couldn't see, and prevent damage. |

I am sure that is never a good way to wake up. On a similar note, we ended up finding a leak in our house this past week that we need to replace. It seems when the last owner did the add on, they ended up screwing up where the two pieces of the roof meet. Who can say expensive before the biggest holiday of the year? :( |
