Subject: | Sun and sun blocks | |
How much sun is too much sun? Most times I use the highest protection I can get my hands on, but I am not finding that brand anymore. Need some help here, how do you limit your time in the sun and what products are you using to stay safe? |

For me, any sun is too much sun. i live in a hot country and tend to sit myself in the shade if ever I am outside. Even when I am in the shade I use very high protection sun blocks. |

I always use a very high sun block and I never stay out in the sun for more than 20 minutes. When summer first starts I limit my time in the sun to only 5 minutes or so. I burn very easily and often get blisters. I stay out of the sun during the day and go out during the early morning hours and evening hours only. I don't need any more problems. |

I'm not sure what "highest protection" product you were using or why you can no longer find it, but plenty of generic store brands make 60spf sport blocks. I normally try to not be in the sun from 0am to 2pm and reapply sunblock every couple of hours. |

I used to use the one that I think was called banana something, the lady friend had me hooked on it but since last summer we have moved and local places for me now are not carrying the one I used. I think it was for sensitive skin maybe? |

I love the sun myself, but you can get to much which really is not good for you at all. Getting a good sunblock with a high rating is what I use if I am in the sun a lot. |

I am very fair skinned. I try to use SPF 45. I make sure I put it on several times a day and always after swimming. I also try to stay out of the direct sunlight when the sun is the hottest. |
