Subject: | Stretch Marks | |
Is there anything that you have used that helps get rid of stretch marks? I've haven't tried anything yet, but I've been wanting to try something out for awhile now. |

I know that there is a type of laser surgery that is quite effective. If you don't want to spend the money on that there are some home remedies you could try. I can't vouch for any of them, but some of them make sense. Take a look: http://www.stretchmarkcure.com/solutions.htm |

I can't swear by this product, but I used Palmer cocoa butter cream for stretch mark after I had my baby, I don't think my stretch marks were chronic because they are almost gone completely. |

My wife used cocoa butter as well and it seemed to help. She still has stretch marks, but they are much less noticeable. |

I think they just fade over time but never really go away, is this right? My girl has some not from babies (odd after two) but from a growth spurt she had getting taller in her teens. |

Hect you are right. There is no way really to get rid of, or even to avoid stretch marks. The only way that you don't get them is if you are blessed with skin that is sufficiently elastic to stretch without forming those little tears. |

Yes, mine faded gradually, but never went away. I didn't do anything special to them. I've heard Strivectin can help a lot, but I wasn't willing to put that on my body. |

Cocoa butter is what I've always been told, too. You should start when the marks are still fresh, though, because apparently once they turn white, they won't really fade any more than that. I don't know how much it'll actually, though, so it's worth a shot (and you can get some that smell really, really good). |

Cocoa butter works a treat. I have a four year old daughter and my stretch marks are now almost invisible. (well, I know where they are of course, but my hubby says he can barely see them) |

Has anyone tried Strivectin for stretch marks? I've heard that it does, but I don't want to pay unless I'm sure--it's expensive. |
