Subject: | sleep apnea and insomnia | |
Could this mix be considered something that would prevent a person from having a job outside of the home? I have an uncle like this and he works fine but I am thinking there are different levels of this that people tend to look at (like the stages of someone who is autistic). |

I agree, as long as something is being done to manage the problem then that should alleviate the side effects of these issues. It may also depend on the type of job being sought. |

Severe apnoea could make the person over tired if not treated, and liable to fall asleep at the wheel perhaps. Beyond that, I think that any effects are the fault of the person for not seeking treatment. |

drabble thats what I think when I read this as well but otherwise its a no go and seems like a sad case of someone abusing the system for those that really need it. I have a friend on the CPAP machine and they are FINE, as in he runs his own restaurant and its on his own, drives, runs the places, works normal around his farm, etc. |

Since this is something that some might consider a disability and others not, is there one site out there which lists every "medical" or "legal" disability out there? |
